day 4 in the big blogger house

i really want to watch it... i know if i start watching it then the next thirteen weeks of my life will be a write off.... perhaps if i stay up here in the study until after 10pm then i will be able to overcome the urge and find more improving ways of spending my time... but i could just go downstairs now... and switch on channel 4....

Don't succumb! I got suckered into watching the Friday night eviction after reading so much about some character referred to as "Ceaser the geezer" that was up for eviction with the worst bookies odds ever (eventually he got over 90% of the votes). And (of course) I got suckered into watching it right to the end. Now, come 9pm I find myself thinking "I'll just have a look and see if there's anything interesting happening". But it's full of the most awful people and is really a complete and utter waste of time. I feel like one of Les Tricoteurs for clicking on the Channel 4 button and if I were a Catholic I'm sure I'd be rushing to Confession after watching it. So don't do it! Don't watch it. Don't encourage them to make more idiots like this 'famous'. Repeat after me.. "Must resist. Must resist!"

They're here. The one on the left has named himself - Zebedee - because he goes boing. Not sure about the other one yet...

I'm too old, too wasp, too middle-class and just too busy to understand what motivates graffiti artists to risk life and limb in pursuit of their thing... but I often love their work and (yes, yes, I know it's illegal) it so often makes a dull place interesting. I used to pass this one at Vauxhall every day on my way to work and it's still as striking as the first day I saw it. Whoever created it I just want them to know that I really appreciate this free gift and I'm glad the London Transport Police haven't been able to get their bleach on it. Can't get Jamie Lidell's Multiply out of my head today. He deserves to be a big star.
